Best host I've ever met, he came to train station to...

Best host I've ever met, he came to train station to pick us and send us out to one of the attraction. Host is very friendly and easy to make conversation. His house is beautiful and located at a quiet area with nice scenery. We like it a lot, it's very relaxing and make us feel like home. We also met a group of nice Taiwanese friends who stayed there and had a great chat for the whole night!

Mr. Chen, the owner, was extremely nice, friendly and...

Mr. Chen, the owner, was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. He will pick you up and drop you off at the minsu when needed, not just when you are arriving and leaving. Since I was traveling alone, he also made sure I got back to the minsu safely each night. My room was very nice, spacious and clean. It was my first time staying at a minsu and it was such a good experience that I will stay there again if I go to Yilan again. The only thing that will make it even better is if I have a chair to put out on the balcony, but I doubt I will stay at the minsu long enough during the day to enjoy the sunshine and the breeze. Maybe next time, I will.

Lovely place, spacious and immaculate room.

Lovely place, spacious and immaculate room. Location is quiet and a very short taxi ride or 30 minute plus walk from Luodong Station. Most of all, the owners absolutely went out of their way to make our stay great and make us feel welcome. We got rides to the nightmarket and the station and got to choose whatever we wanted from the breakfast menu which they got for us from a place in the area.

Only minor thing was the bathroom flooding a little when taking a shower.

The rooms were what we expected and the bathrooms clean.

The rooms were what we expected and the bathrooms clean. Host great.

Every time the doors to the rooms opened or closed they would echo loudly in the staircase and voices echoed loudly in the stairwell as well. Breakfast was meh and taxi Drivers almost always had to call the owner to find out where it was located. We didn't mind the location but we often were left wondering if the Drivers knew how to get us back! :)

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Bicycles are provided to travel around and get the night market.

External bathroom to downstairs bedroom is not ideal and therefore I think the price was a little high

Host shared lots of local information and story that made the trip more interesting. Environment is great, and they have a big yard that is good for family with children and elders.

Around 3~4km walking from Luodong station, might be a little far for someone. But host provides pick-up service.
